Student Portal

The Student Portal is where learners open the classroom activities assigned by their teacher.

Overview

After joining a class, students can enter the Student Portal to complete assigned quizzes, pronunciation exercises, and other guided activities. It acts as the student-facing entry point for classwork inside Chat Everywhere.

Signed-in students can also use it to reopen Past Quiz History and review submitted in-class quiz attempts that were linked to their account.

How to Access

  1. Join a class using the code shared by your teacher.
  2. Open Student Portal from the sidebar.
  3. Select the assigned quiz, pronunciation task, or other activity.
  4. To review earlier submissions, open Past Quiz History from the sidebar or from Other Features.

What’s Inside

  • In-Class Quiz — Complete assigned quizzes and review results
  • Past Quiz History — Reopen submitted in-class quiz records saved to your account
  • Pronunciation Practicer — Finish teacher-assigned speaking practice
  • Share Messages — Submit AI conversation messages for teacher review

Review Past Quiz History

Past Quiz History lets students reopen submitted in-class quizzes from one place instead of returning to the original class session or dedicated link.

This history can include:

  • quizzes taken during a live class session
  • quizzes opened through a dedicated link after the student signs in

To make sure a dedicated-link quiz shows up later, the student should log in before starting or resuming that attempt. If a quiz was started anonymously, signing in afterward does not retroactively attach that older attempt to the account.

If the history shortcut is not visible directly in the sidebar, students can open Other Features first and then select Past Quiz History there.

Who Can Use This

  • Students who join with a teacher-provided class code
  • Students whose accounts have access through an active class or organization setup
