Overview

Meeting Summarizer lets you upload an audio or video recording and get back a full transcript, an AI-generated summary, an interactive mind map, and a structured meeting report. It supports multiple languages, can identify different speakers, and lets you export in various formats.

You can also record meetings directly from your iPhone using the companion iOS app, then upload for analysis.

How to Access

  1. Open the sidebar menu
  2. Click Other Features
  3. Select Meeting Summarizer under Helper Series

Step-by-Step Guide

Upload Your Recording

  1. Click Select File to choose an audio or video file (MP4, MOV, and other common formats)
  2. Choose a transcription model:
    • Standard β€” Basic transcription
    • Premium β€” Higher accuracy, speaker detection, and audio event detection (paid)
  3. Optionally specify the number of speakers for better accuracy
  4. Select the language you want your summary in
  5. Click Start Transcription

Review Your Results

Once processing is complete, you’ll see four tabs:

  • Transcript β€” Full text with timestamps, speaker labels, copy and download options
  • Summary β€” AI-generated overview, action items, things to note, and recommended actions
  • Mindmap β€” Interactive visual mind map (click Generate Mindmap to create it)
  • Report β€” Structured meeting report you can generate from a template

Generate a Mind Map

  1. Go to the Mindmap tab
  2. Click Generate Mindmap
  3. Edit the content if needed
  4. Download as HTML, Markdown, or PNG

Create a Meeting Report

  1. Go to the Report tab
  2. Pick a template β€” Standard, Training, Project, or Client meeting
  3. Click Generate Report
  4. Customize sections by dragging to reorder, or adding/removing sections
  5. Save your customization as a template for future meetings
  6. Export as TXT, DOCX, or PDF

View Past Meetings

  1. Click View History to see all your past transcriptions
  2. Search by title or summary content
  3. Click any entry to revisit its transcript, summary, mind map, and report

Common Questions

My upload keeps failing. Check your file size β€” 1 GB max on free, 5 GB on paid. Make sure it’s a supported audio or video format.

The transcript quality isn’t great. Try the Premium model (paid). Specifying the correct number of speakers also helps. Better audio quality will always give better results.

Mind map or report won’t generate. These features require the paid plan. If you’re already on paid and it fails, try generating again β€” processing can occasionally time out.

Speaker names are wrong. Click on any speaker label to rename them. The change applies everywhere in the transcript.
