Core AI ToolsCE Notify

CE Notify

Send yourself LINE notifications from your own scripts, servers, or devices with a single HTTP request.

Overview

CE Notify turns a LINE chat into an endpoint you can call. When a deploy finishes, a backup fails, or a sensor crosses a threshold, your code sends one request and the message arrives on your phone.

CE Notify is a separate LINE account from CE 小幫手. It only delivers notifications, so alerts never mix with your assistant conversations. It is intended for people who can write a little code or configure a webhook.

How to Access

  1. Add CE Notify (@973femac) on LINE by opening line.me/R/ti/p/@973femac
  2. CE Notify asks for your email address. Send it as a message
  3. Click the link in the verification email to link the chat to your Chat Everywhere account. If no account uses that email yet, a new one is created
  4. In the CE Notify chat, use the menu to request your token. CE Notify replies with a CE Notify API card showing the endpoint, your token, and this month’s usage

Each account has one token. Requesting it again shows the same token. Other messages you send to CE Notify get the reply “CE Notify is for API notifications only.”

Key Features

  • One request — POST with a bearer token and a JSON body. No SDK or webhook registration
  • Markdown formatting — Add "markdown": true to receive a formatted LINE card
  • GET support — For devices that can only send GET requests
  • Usage in every response — See how many messages you have left and the days until reset
  • Safe failures — Failed deliveries don’t count against your allowance

Step-by-Step Guide

Send a Message

Send a POST request to https://v2.chateverywhere.app/api/line/notify:

curl -X POST https://v2.chateverywhere.app/api/line/notify \ -H "Authorization: Bearer $CE_NOTIFY_TOKEN" \ -H "Content-Type: application/json" \ -d '{"message": "Deploy finished"}'
  • message (required) — The text to send, up to 5,000 characters. Leading and trailing spaces are trimmed
  • markdown (optional) — Set to true to render headings, bold, italics, code, and lists as a formatted LINE card

Send a Formatted Message

{ "message": "# Alert\n**Temperature** 42°C\n- Living Room", "markdown": true }

Without markdown, the message arrives as plain text.

Send with GET

If your device or service can only send GET requests, pass token and message as query parameters:

curl "https://v2.chateverywhere.app/api/line/notify?token=$CE_NOTIFY_TOKEN&message=Deploy+finished"

GET requests always send plain text. Your token appears in URLs and server logs this way, so use POST whenever you can.

Read the Response

A successful request returns:

{ "success": true, "quota": { "used": 13, "limit": 100, "remaining": 87, "daysUntilReset": 19 } }

Plans & Access

PlanCE Notify messages per month
All plans100

The allowance is counted per account and resets on the first day of each month, Taipei time (GMT+8).

Keep Your Token Safe

  • Anyone with your token can send messages to your LINE
  • Store it in an environment variable such as CE_NOTIFY_TOKEN, not in your code or repository
  • Prefer POST over GET so the token stays out of URLs

Troubleshooting

I get 400 “User has no linked CE Notify account”

Add CE Notify on LINE and complete email verification with the same email as your Chat Everywhere account.

I get 401 “Invalid token”

Check that you copied the full token from the CE Notify API card and that the header is Authorization: Bearer <token>.

Messages stopped arriving with 429

You have sent 100 messages this month. The daysUntilReset value from your last successful request shows when the allowance resets.
