Teacher Portal

A dedicated dashboard for educators to run live classroom sessions, create assessments, and review student work β€” all in one place.

Overview

The Teacher Portal is a separate section of Chat Everywhere, accessible from the sidebar, that gives educators a full set of classroom management tools. It is distinct from the main AI chat interface and focuses entirely on teaching workflows. When you open it, you land on Class Sessions by default.

The portal brings together everything you need for a class: starting a session, sharing join codes, running quizzes, assigning pronunciation exercises, reviewing student submissions, and organizing work with tags.

How to Access

  1. Sign in with a Teacher plan account.
  2. Click Teacher Portal in the sidebar.
  3. You land on Class Sessions by default.

What’s Inside

Class Sessions Create a live classroom session and share a join code with your students. Once a session is running, you can monitor AI conversations in real time, push quizzes to the class, and send prompt templates directly to students.

In-Class Quiz Generate quizzes using AI, deliver them during a session, and get automatic grading and performance analytics when students submit their answers.

Pronunciation Practicer Assign spoken pronunciation exercises to students. AI scores each attempt, so you can track progress without reviewing every recording yourself.

Share Messages Students can submit AI conversation messages for review. This section lets you read, annotate, and grade those submissions.

Prompt Templates Build reusable prompt templates and push them to students during a live session so everyone starts from the same context.

Tag Management Create color-coded tags to organize and filter student submissions across the portal.

Student Access

Teachers can generate one-time codes that give students temporary paid-plan access for the duration of a class session. Students enter the code on the login screen β€” they do not need their own account to participate in a session.

Class Session Setup

Use Start New Class from Class Sessions to create a live class. The setup form includes:

  • Class name β€” Use a name students and teachers can recognize later.
  • Duration β€” A class code can run for up to 24 hours.
  • Allow re-login with the same name β€” Lets students rejoin with the same display name during the class window.
  • Collect student conversations β€” Saves student conversations from the class so teachers can review them.

After the class starts, the session detail view shows the one-time code, remaining time, end time, student capacity, joined student list, and shortcut to live shared messages. Each teacher can have one active class at a time.

Join Another Online Class

Teachers in the same organization can join another teacher’s online class for co-teaching or observation. From Class Sessions, click Join Online Class, enter the active class code, and open the shared class view.
